Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum qualification: MA / MSc or equivalent (16 years of education).
- Higher qualification holders will be preferred.
- At least four (04) years of service remaining before retirement on closing date.
- Minimum one (01) year verifiable administrative experience.
- Candidates with additional management experience will be given preference.
- Eligible candidates include:
- Civil Servants (APUG, FDE, Govt of Punjab) working in BS-18 / BS-19.
- Employees of public sector organizations or higher education institutions in BS-18 / BS-19.
- Candidates who have availed two tenures (six years) as Secretary are not eligible.
Tenure & Pay
- Appointment will be for a period of three (03) years or till the pleasure of the Controlling Authority.
- Annual performance evaluation will be conducted.
- Special allowance equal to one initial basic pay shall be admissible.
- PAS / PMS officers will continue to draw Executive Allowance @150% of running basic pay.
- Other officers will be entitled to Officers Allowance in addition to pay & allowances.
- Terms shall be governed under Deputation Policy, 1998 (as amended).
