Punjab domicile for project-based posts under the development scheme
“Digital Enumeration of Linear Plantations in Punjab (2025–26)”. Recruitment will be purely

Project Overview

The scheme aims to digitally enumerate linear plantations across Punjab using modern GIS, drone, LiDAR and
mobile technologies. For execution of this project, the Forest Department requires a small IT core team
(Frontend, Backend, Mobile App & Drone/LiDAR specialists) along with a field team of Surveyors.

Post-wise Qualification & Experience (Brief Overview)

Frontend Developer (PPS-7) Qualification: 16 years of education in Software Engineering / IT / Computer Science
from HEC-recognised university, with specialization in frontend development and web UI.
Experience: At least 2 years relevant experience in modern frontend frameworks
and web-based GIS/enterprise applications, as per details in the official advertisement.
Backend Developer (PPS-7) Qualification: 16 years of education in Software Engineering / IT / Computer Science
with specialization in backend development, databases and APIs.
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in server-side programming, database
design and integration for large-scale applications.
Mobile App Developer (PPS-7) Qualification: 16 years of education in Computer Science / Software Engineering /
related field with focus on Android / iOS app development.
Experience: At least 2 years experience in developing and deploying mobile
apps (preferably GIS / field data collection apps).
Drone / LiDAR Data Collector (PPS-7) Qualification: 16 years of education in GIS / Geomatics / Remote Sensing /
Geoinformatics or Computer Science with GIS / RS specialization.
Experience: Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with drones, LiDAR data
acquisition and GIS-based processing / mapping, preferably in forestry or land-use projects.
Surveyor (PPS-4) Qualification: Higher Secondary School Certificate plus 1-year Survey / CAD (Civil)
diploma or 3-year DAE (Civil) from recognised institute.
Experience: Practical survey / field experience will be preferred, particularly in
linear plantations or infrastructure projects.

Age Relaxation

Upper age limit already includes general relaxation as per Government of Punjab rules.
Additional relaxation is admissible as per Punjab S&GAD Notification mentioned in the
advertisement (generally up to +05 years for males and +08 years for females in the
upper age limit on the date of advertisement).

General Instructions

  • Recruitment will be made purely on merit under prevailing Government policy.
  • All posts are project-based and will be filled on contract basis for up to two (02) years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
  • Candidates must apply online through the Punjab Job Portal at
    jobs.punjab.gov.pk.
  • After online submission, candidates will also send a copy of the submitted online form along with attested copies of educational degrees, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC and two photographs to the office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Lahore Forest Division, Ravi Road, Lahore (as per ad).
  • The name of the post applied for should be clearly mentioned on the envelope.
  • Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test / interview; no TA/DA will be admissible.
  • Employees of Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel and produce NOC at the time of interview.
  • The competent authority reserves the right to increase, decrease or cancel the number of posts at any stage without assigning any reason.
  • Last date for receipt of applications: 02 December 2025.
