Department Overview
Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of the Punjab, is hiring experienced
medical faculty for public sector medical universities, colleges and teaching hospitals across the province.
These positions are being filled through the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) on a
regular basis, with competitive pay as per Basic Pay Scales BS-19 and BS-20 and
clear career-progression pathways.

- Create / log into your PPSC profile and select the relevant post (Professor / Associate Professor) you wish to apply for.
- Fill the online form carefully with complete academic details, PM&DC / PMC registration information and teaching / research experience.
- Deposit the prescribed application fee using ATMs, mobile / internet banking, over-the-counter 1Link bank branches, JazzCash, Easypaisa or other approved channels as mentioned on PPSC website.
- After submitting the online form, candidates must dispatch hard copy of the online application along with two sets of attested documents and research papers to PPSC within 7 working days of the closing date (as per instructions in the advertisement).
- Last date for submission of online application: 08 December 2025. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

General PPSC Instructions (Key Points)
- Recruitment will be strictly on merit as per PPSC rules and notified service rules of SHC&ME Department.
- Age is calculated on the closing date; general relaxation already included as mentioned for male / female / transgender candidates.
- Experience in Government sector is accepted only if issued by the competent / appointing authority. Private sector experience must be from SECP / Registrar of Firms / Regulatory-registered institutions.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
- In case of claim of equivalent qualification, an equivalence certificate of HEC / relevant authority must be produced at the time of interview.
- PPSC and the department reserve the right to increase / decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
